Days Four (oops) and Five

We were too busy yesterday to update the Day Four, so here it comes along with Day Five surprise...

Those plate-like thingies can be found in the caps of Coke bottles. Laura says that I can decorate them as I like.

Eilen oli sen verran kiirettä, että emme ehtineet päivittää joulukalenteria, mutta tässä korjataan tilanne...

Tuollaisia lautasen näköisiä juttuja löytyy limsapullojen korkeista. Laura sanoi, että voin koristella ne ihan miten haluan!


Today in the morning I found from the drawer these lovely little soap, shampoo and perfume bottles!!! Laura has made them from different sized beads. They are sooo cute!

Tänä aamuna löysin laatikosta nämä ihanat, pienet saippua, shampoo ja parfyymipullot. Laura on tehnyt ne liimaamalla erikokoisia helmiä yhteen. Ne on niiiiiin söpöjä!

Day Three

These are soooo cute!!! I just love the little `rubber` duck. And those are perfectest toothbrushes for Greta and Grace.

Eikös ole ihania!!! Varsinkin toi `kumi`ankka. Ja aivan täydelliset hammasharjat Gretalle ja Gracelle...

Laura: I made these from Fimo, a clay-like stuff that hardens in the oven. And the little sponges are cut from my mom´s old beauty set... with permission... The bucket I bought from Tiimari, a chain shop in Finland full of all things cute and lovely..

Laura: Tein nämä jutut Fimosta ja sienet leikkasin äidin vanhasta kasvosienestä... kysyin tietty luvan... Saavi on ostettu Tiimarista.

Calendar - Day Two

Now is the second day and I get to open another tiny box.

Nyt on toinen päivä ja saan avata jo toisen pikkulaatikon!

Aren't those pretty flowers! I just love them.

Olipas siellä kauniita kukkia, tykkään niistä tosi paljon!

Laura - I used the flower-shaped puncher to make the shapes, using two kinds of papers for the petals. To hold the whole thing together I used bead and string glued to each other to make the stem.

Laura teki kukat itse. Hän käytti kukan muotoista lävistintä ja kahta erilaista paperia tehdäkseen terälehdet. Naru, jonka päässä on helmi, pitää kukan koossa.

The Christmas Calendar, Day One

My sister made a Calendar for me!!! I am so excited! I can´t wait to see what comes out from the first teeny tiny box....

Siskoni teki minulle Joulukalenterin!!! Mä olen niin innostunut!! Tuskin jaksan odottaa, mitä ensimmäisestä laatikosta löytyy...

And when I opened it, there was only a note... ????

Ja kun avasin sen, siellä olikin vain paperilappunen...???

It said that the surprise is under the hallway mat. I ran to see what it was...

Ahaa, ylläri löytyykin eteisen maton alta. Ryntäsin katsomaan, mikä se voisi olla...

Under the mat I found a little laundry basket... to go right into the doll house bathroom!

Maton alta löytyi tämmöinen ihana pyykkikori... joka käy tosi hyvin nukkekodin kylppäriin!

And it fit perfectly! I just can´t wait for tomorrow to see what is in the next box!!!! This is going to be so much fun!

Ja se sopi sinne ihan täydellisesti! En kyllä millään jaksa odottaa huomiseen.. Nyt on tämä joulun odotus tosi kivaa!

Picnic!

While it was a beautiful sunny Sunday, Greta and Grace decided to have a picnic in their newly-made back yard. They have lots of fire wood for the coming winter!

(My sister made the place mats and I, Riikka made the picnic basket!)

Oli niin kaunis ja aurinkoinen sunnuntai-päivä, joten Greta ja Grace päättivät pitää piknikin takapihallaan. Sinne onkin laitettu uusi hieno nurmikko remontin jälkeen! Tytöillä onkin paljon takkapuita talvea varten valmiina.

(Siskoni Laura teki pöytätabletit ja minä, Riikka, punoin piknik-korin!!)

Kitchen Table

My sister Laura got an idea to build a kitchen table for Greta and Grace. She painted popsicle sticks and then she glued them to the squared piece of wood. The table cloth we bought from the The Season Opening of the Finnish Dollhouse Society.

Sisareni Laura keksi rakentaa keittiön pöydän kuvassa näkyvissä tarpeista. Ihana pöytäliina löytyi Nukkekotiyhdistyksen kauden avajaisista.

Kitchen Stove

Greta and Grace are having the new shiny stove in their kitchen now, so they can bake and make hot meals, too!

Tässä on siis talon asukkaiden uutuuttaan kiiltelevä hella ja uuni!
